Editorial policy

What we publish

We publish free tools and educational content about dollar-cost averaging: backtesting and planning calculators, per-asset and comparison pages built from historical data, research studies, and plain-language guides. We do not publish price predictions, trading signals or personal recommendations.

Accuracy and sources

Numbers in our articles and studies come from the same historical datasets and calculation code that power the calculators, so readers can reproduce them with the tools on this site. Where we cite outside research or statistics, we link to the original source.

Our data sources, processing steps and backtest assumptions are documented on the data & methodology page and on the research team page. When an assumption simplifies reality — no fees, no taxes, constant growth in forecasts — we say so.

Independence and affiliate links

Some pages contain referral links to exchanges. They fund the site but do not shape what we write: partners do not pay for coverage, cannot review or approve content, and have no influence on calculations. Referral offers are shown in separate, clearly marked boxes, and the full list of partners is disclosed on the research team page.

Updates and corrections

Data-driven pages update automatically when the daily price refresh runs. Articles show their publication date and, when meaningfully revised, the date of the latest update.

If you find an error — a wrong figure, a broken calculation or an outdated statement — please email us. We check every report, fix confirmed errors as quickly as possible, and update the page date when a correction changes its substance.

Translations

Pages and articles are available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. Translations keep the numbers, tickers and referral codes of the original unchanged. When an article has not been translated yet, the English original is shown with a notice.
